Oakdale is located in the Camlad Valley in Mid Wales close to the English border. The farm lies in the shadows of the Churchstoke Hills (Corndon Hill, Lan Fawr, Roundton Hill, and Todleth Hill). The farm is close to the Kerry Ridgeway, the ancient drovers trail and Offas Dyke, and is just a stones throw from the Shropshire Hills AONB. As such our cows roam in some of the most spectacular countryside in the UK. Our herd of pedigree Simmentals has won several prizes and has full genetic history. Wynford and Joyce Jones have been farming in the area for more than 40 years. We are members of both the Welsh Simmental Club and the British Simmental Society. |
